Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
"Where He Leads Me I Will Follow"
"And he said, “Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken His mercy and His truth toward my master. As for me, being on the way, the Lord led me to the house of my master’s brethren.”
Oh, how the Wonder of God greets us every morning for Breakfast..... His Promise to Lead us into the Unknown ahead of us, every day....
This is the Great Adventure of the Warriors Life: Where He Leads Me I Will Follow!
This is where Eliezer, the servant of Abraham was. Armed with faith in the God his Master had made known to him - he walked into the unknown, trusting in God to "lead him to the house of his Master's brethren." And God did just that!
Some of the greatest adventures of my childhood began when my sisters and I jumped in the car with our mom and dad and asked "where are we going, Daddy?" He always answered "you'll find out, when we get there!" Oh how we would all guess where we were going: and his answer remained "you'll find out when we get there!"
Our Commander leads us forward toward our heavenly destination "The House of Our Master's Brethren," and our brethren too!
He doesn't lead us back to "Haran," the past of sin, shame, and regret.
Our Commander leads us with regular conversation along the way; walking in the Light with Him (1John 1:7) and listening daily to Him (Prov.8:34).
Oh I love that old song, All The Way My Savior Leads Me:
"All the way my Savior leads me
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His faithful mercies?
Who through life has been my guide
Heavenly peace, divinest comfort
Ere by faith in Him to dwell
For I know whate'er fall me
Jesus doeth all things well."
The "Unknown" before us is the "Known" to our Commander and King! Let us Follow Him Confidently and Steadfastly into the Unknown of Life; for we ".. know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."(Rom.8:28)
Where He Leads Me I Will Follow; all the way home to the House of my Master's Children! Oooh Rah!
