Good Morning Warrior!
Word for the Day:
(1 Chron. 15)
“Worshippers of God Forever”
Text: 1Chron. 15:2
“Then David said, “No one may carry the ark of God but the Levites, for the LORD has chosen them to carry the ark of God and to minister before Him forever.”
“Worshippers of God Forever,” is on our menu for Breakfast this morning.
God reminded King David of “the proper way,” to bring the Ark of God’s Presence into Jerusalem - by the Levites who have been chosen and set apart to Carry the Ark and to Minister before Him Forever as Worshippers.
What a fantastic event this was!
It was about 5 or 6 km (3 1/2 miles) from Obed-Edom’s house to Jerusalem, and after 6 paces (30 feet), 7 bulls and 7 rams were offered as sacrifices; all the way to Jerusalem. And the worshippers sang and played music like an orchestra all the way to Jerusalem! Oh Hallelujah! What an event this was!
This is a picture of the Warrior’s Life. We are called and set apart by God as Worshippers of God Forever!
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.” (1Pet.2:9-10).
There is “proper way” to do this that Jesus outlined for us:
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23-24).
Our Commander Jesus Christ came to earth and Modeled a True Worshipper of God by Living a perfect godly life. His Life of godliness was Worshipping His Father “in Spirit and in Truth.”
That’s the way the Warrior Worships God in Spirit and in Truth - by living a godly life!
Meeting regularly with Jesus every day, cooperating with Holy Spirit in Obedience; is how we can live a godly life. This is what our Commander did and this is what He expects His Warriors to do! Oooooh Rah!
We are Called and Chosen to be Warrior Worshippers of God Forever! Through every season of life we remain Worshippers of God; singing His Promises to the Storms on the Battlefields of Life. We are Worshippers of God Forever! Oooooh Rah!
Warrior at your side,
